It’s no brainer that we are obsessed with selfies. Afterall it was a trend set by Frida Kahlo. Or if I rewind even further, then to kings posing with their horses and aesthetic landscapes or Queens shying behind a veil. So here’s a treat for you all.

This is what Hermoine Granger looks like in her yearbook picture when the cameraman has a thing for Van Gogh and Madhubani paintings and Drag Queens. It looks more queer now! I gave more volume to her hair cuz atleast my paintings shouldn’t have hairfall problems. *Brb crying* I know I have been switching from all sorts of styles and themes, but bear with me. Thanks.
But honestly, this is what I looked like in last night’s dream. Doing some Priyanka Chopra detective shizz! No biggie.
Creating portraits is a different kind of high. It really doesn’t matter how clumsy you are with drawings, but the lines definitely reveal something about your personality. It shows what truly catches your attention and how you feel to express it on paper. I think I have intrigued your little minds. So yes! Go treat yourself with “M.F.Hussain like art piece” worthy to be hanged in your living room wall and give your cellphones a break. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
“I paint self-portraits because I am so often alone, because I am the person I know best.”
– Frida Kahlo

Each art reveals something, perhaps the mindset, with which it was created.

Haha Iām far from selfie obsessed. Somehow I can never get the right shot I look horrible. I can almost hear Hermoine groaning at her yearbook haha š but I love it ā¤

I would also shun the fact that I’m selfie obsessed because the camera just can’t capture what my mirror shows me. Despite knowing that, I end up clicking and deleting 50 pictures from all angles on a good hair or perfectly winged eyeliner day š

š It must be those cameras fault! They should make them so it captures us as they way we see ourselves! Lol š
For me though, asking my husband to take the shot looks even worse. He hates it too because he doesn’t like smartphones or any touch screens. He’s better with an actual camera.
